|Biographical detail : ||Born of Buddhist parents in Kiga city and named Sekihei.
After studies he joined the Japanese foreign affairs ministry, then joined a commercial organisation that involved him in travelling and then taught in university. He had lived and travelled in Muslim countries for over 23 years. He embraced Islam in 1957.
He was Secretary General of Co-ordinating Council for Islamic Organisations in Japan (Nippon Isuramu Dantai Kyogiakai). He was one of the founders of Islamic Centre-Japan and pillars of Japan Muslim Association and member of Supreme Council of Mosques under Rabita Alam al Islami of Makkah.
He took the task of explaining the meaning of Islam to the Japanese people. He got young Japanese Muslims educated and trained in Islamic way of life and culture in Muslim countries.
