August is a traditionally quiet month for protests, but today 300,000 people marched. Yesterday, we heard that Germany had halted arms to Israel, and Cumberland Council became the 17th council to commit to divest from companies supplying weapons to Israel and active in illegal settlements. The pressure on our government is increasing.”
